After several years in the field of neuroscience in Paris, two total renovations and a baby, we wanted to go back to basics. It is quite naturally that we turned to Auvergne, where my husband was born. After some research, we fell in love with this winegrower's house from 1850, its village, its inhabitants and its surroundings. We have sought to create a unique place, at the crossroads between the charming hotel and the bed and breakfast, the authentic and the contemporary, the natural and the colorful, the refinement and the fun.
Concerned about our ecological impact, the new furniture as well as the bed linen and bedding are eco-responsible. Wishing to support the local economic and social fabric, we opted for solid soaps and shampoos made in the village. We also collaborate with masseuses who come to the house by appointment for treatments.
The 2000 m2 garden will allow you to escape, doze under a tree, take a dip in its swimming pool or even try your hand at pétanque.Board games are available to you as well as books on the region and table football for wild games.
We are ideally located in a small authentic village and you will find several hiking trails at the foot of the house. You will also be close to very beautiful natural sites in Auvergne: the listed village of Montpeyroux 5 minutes away, Lake Pavin, Lake Chambon and the Valley of the Fairies 20 minutes away, Puy de Dôme 30 minutes away and the ski resort of great Besse 35 minutes away. We are also 15 minutes from the cheese route with in particular the village of Saint Nectaire, but also surrounded by very good restaurants including a starred one fifteen minutes from the house.
In short, you will have understood that coming to us is the guarantee of a tailor-made escape.
